Connecting our home to the world
Longfield Farm

Marlborough, nz
Our story begins in 1841, when David and Marianne Hammond arrived in Nelson, NZ. In 1870, their sons Francis & Henry purchased the land that became Longfield Farm.

DEVELOPING THE LAND
Over five generations, Longfield has grown through hard work, innovation, and a deep love for the land - from sheep farming and crop growing, to inventing globally sold agricultural tools, and even producing an All Black.
A new chapter
In 1999, we planted our first vines as Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc began gaining global acclaim. Today, Longfield spans 650 acres, the majority planted in Sauvignon Blanc, farmed with care and a commitment to best practices.
